INGREDIENTS
- 3 medium apples, unpeeled and cut into thin wedges
- 2 cups sliced celery
- 1 (20 ounce) can pineapple chunks drained
- 1 (8 ounce) package sharp Cheddar Cheese, cubed
- 3/4 cup slivered almonds, toasted
- 1/2 cup commercial sour cream
- 1/2 mayonnaise
- Leaf Lettuce (optional)
DIRECTIONS
Combine first 5 ingredients in a mixing bowl; set aside.
Combine sour cream and mayonnaise; mix well. Pour over apple mixture; toss gently to mix. Chill 1 to 2 hours; serve on lettuce-lined plates, if desired.
Yield: about 10 servings
